happy to be a kkg.

Yesterday started the full week of Homecoming festivities!  Representing my organization is my favorite part of the week and it makes me proud to participate in each of the events.  Yesterday I donated blood for the third time and attended the King and Queen pageant with my KKG sisters.

"When things start to happen, don't worry.  Don't stew.  Just go right along.  You'll start happening, too."

"Wherever you fly, you'll be best of the best. Wherever you go, you will top all the rest."

"Oh, the places you'll go!  There is fun to be done!  There are points to be scored.  There are games to be won.  And the magical things you can do with that ball will make you the winning-est winner of all.  Fame!  You'll be as famous as famous can be, with the whole world watching you win on TV!"

All of the congratulations are in order for our sister Becky who won the Homecoming Queen title, keeping the crown in Kappa for 3 years in a row.  Her outstanding performances in the opening dance, spirit skit, talent portion, and finalist interview question won her the crown.  I even FaceTimed in my friend Alix who won the title last year to watch this year's pageant.  While it is always great to be a Miami Hurricane, today it is especially great to be a Miami K K G!
