Pre-Rush: everybody will meet with their Rho Gamma group on Tuesday to get Panhellenic t-shirts and basic information before going to the formal recruitment meeting. Rho Gammas are girls involved in Greek life who have disaffiliated for the week to help us find our respective chapters.
Open House: on this day, we visit all 7 Miami Panhellenic sororities to talk to chapter members and get a feel for Greek life. On this day, we wear the Panhellenic t-shirts and our choice of bottoms or shoes.
Philanthropy Night: tonight we will visit up to 5 chapters to hear about each sorority's philanthropy, which is where they donate funds from their community service events. We will wear business casual/semi casual outfits to each party, where we will hear about each philanthropy and do a quick craft.
Invitational: known as "skit round" at other universities, tonight we will visit a maximum of 3 chapters to watch a skit about the respective sorority's values. It is a slightly more formal night and one of the more serious parties as well.
Preference: the most formal night of recruitment, we will attend a maximum of 2 pref parties, where we participate in a sisterhood ceremony and listen to more information about those sororities. After pref night, we will end up making a final decision for where we would like to end up.
Bid Day: nope, I am still not revealing what Miami bid day is like because I want to be able to share that when the day arrives. All I can say is that it is a great way to end the week and kick off second semester classes.
Have a great day!
xoxo
